The challenge

Founded in 2004, 50NRTH has been operating its own online shop for gardening products since 2010. In addition to its B2C online shop mygardenhome.de, 50NRTH also delivers business partners in Germany and Austria.

The previous logistics service provider did not offer the desired range of services while prices were rising at the same time. 50NRTH was also looking for a logistics partner who shares and contributes to the newly set sustainability goals.

The process

The cooperation with DHL 2MH started successfully at the end of 2022 and resulted in a quick setup within a few weeks. Currently, the interface integration is being worked on with active DHL support to further improve the processes for customers and thus save time and resources.

In terms of sustainability, 50NRTH is still at the start of its journey. To meet its own demands and customer requirements in climate protection, the company is currently focusing on the following areas:

  • Product Sustainability through a product range that is based on self-sufficiency demands and uses only FSC-certified wood. The company is officially FSC-certified since June 2022.
  • Optimized returns management with sustainable solutions. Reusable parts are used for the spare parts warehouse.

By cooperating with DHL 2MH, 50NRTH is well positioned to further advance its sustainability initiatives and to increase customer satisfaction as its shipment volumes grows.
